I-CLUB EDIT, in collaboration with Jitex is planning a business trip to Japan from Nov. 7th to Nov. 11th , exclusively for European i-mode Carriers & Content Providers, for three full days of intensive meetings with the main stakeholders of mobile business in Japan covering all layers of the value chain.

This will be a unique occasion for you to network with Japanese companies and gain a thorough insight into one of the most advanced market in the world. Furthermore, participants will be able to discuss strategic European issues amongst themselves.

Some of the most promising and important Japanese leaders will join us. They include* :
• Major contents providers, from gaming (Taito, Namco…), to news (Asahi…)
• Contents aggregators (Cybird, Index…)
• Non-official contents providers
• Local and foreign experts
• Carriers (we plan to meet NTT DoCoMo i-mode’s planning team)
• Handset makers (Panasonic…)
• Users (a focus group will be organized)

The club was created in April 2003 by 10 content providers aiming to exchange more information and co-develop marketing tools.
It is a democratic, transparent and non-profit-making organization.
All its members are exclusively content providers.

MISSIONS
Promote i-mode Content Providers nationally and internationally.
Provide statistics to Content Providers.
Support Content Providers quality of service together with the operator.

TOOLS

STATISTICS
i-clubedit gathers monthly statistics about each service of each member.
These statistics are strictly confidential and will not be published, or used for any other
purpose than the publication of a quarterly statistical report.
The quarterly statistical report is a confidential document sent to i-clubedit members only.


NETWORKING
The association compiles the addresses of decision makers in each content provider.
Each content provider may propose general lines of potential collaboration with the other partners:

- meetings with European content providers.
- meetings with Japanese content providers.

QUALITY
i-clubedit organizes an end-user benchmark and quality campaign in partnership with the operators.
